History of Company
Trussco first established itself in Singapore as a specialist subcontractor in the supply and installation of steel and timber doors in the early 90s.
Leveraging on its experience and strength in project management and product quality assurances, Trussco began developing its capabilities as a steel door manufacturer since the early 2000s. Trussco now manufactures a wide range of steel doors for commercial, residential, industrial, security, detention and speciality purposes.
In the 1990s, Trussco developed its own range of detention grade locks and hardware under the HSM brand which it carries to today. These locks and hardware have been installed in more than 10,000 cells worldwide, ranging from medium to maximum security facilities. Trussco owns the HSM brand and manufactures its full product range. Trussco also manufactures the Trussco Padded System developed by in-house R&D.
In the mid-90s, Trussco diversified its business into the Defense Industry introducing revolutionary technologies for police enforcement and the military with the aim of protecting life and empowering these agencies with more effective law enforcement and security tools.

Our Founder
Tina Wong, the founder and CEO of Trussco Pte Ltd, graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Engineering. Passionate about construction and engineering, Tina built Trussco in 1995 initially as a specialist contractor and has since developed the company into one of the largest security specialist manufacturers and suppliers of American certified detention grade products and systems within Asia.
Tina has been active in community service and the arts scene, having supported the Yellow Ribbon Projects, the Singapore Chinese Orchestra and the Chinese Theatre Circle, among others, for many years.
